Mark Wahlberg- Workout Routine and His Career

Mark Wahlberg is an American actor, producer, businessman, rapper, a former model, and as well as a songwriter. He was known by his stage name Marky Mark in his group  Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch. The group released music albums like Music for the People and You Gotta Believe. He started acting from 1993. His first movie was Renaissance Man. In 1996 he was the star of the movie Fear. In the movie  Boogie Nights, he played the role of Dirk Diggler a porn actor. The role was loved by all. He then was starred in the big budget movie Planet of the Apes in 2001 and The Italian Job in 2003. He also did neo-crime drama The Departed, that role earned him an Academy Awards nominee. He received the nomination in Academy Awards nomination for best producer for the movie The Fighter.

Mark also did some comic role in movies like The Other GuysDaddy’s HomeTed and its sequel. He now plays the protagonist in the movie franchise Transformer. The actor has always looked good in every movie. Today we will see his workout routine.

Workout Routine of Mark Wahlberg

He trains five days a week. Marks takes two days off after working out for 3 consecutive days.

Day 1- Legs, back and biceps

  • He starts his workout with 4 sets of dumbbell lunge of 8-12 reps.
  • Then he performs 4 sets of leg curl of 8-12 reps.
  • Next, he does 4 sets of squats of 8-12 reps.
  • After that, he does 4 sets of bent over row of 8-10 reps.
  • Then he performs 4 sets of pull up of 8-11 reps.
  • Next he does 4 sets of barbell curl of 8-12 reps.
  • And after that, he performs 4 sets of leg extension of 10-12 reps.
  • Next, he performs 4 sets of leg press of 10-12 reps.
  • Then he performs 3 sets of barbell rows of 8-10 reps.
  • And after that he does 4 sets of biceps curls of 10 reps.
  • At last he performs, 4 sets of hanging leg raise of 12-15 reps.

Day 2- Chest, shoulders and triceps

  • He starts his day 2 workout with 4 sets of bench press of 8-12 reps.
  • Next, he does 4 sets of incline dumbbell bench press of 8-10 reps.
  • And after that, he performs 4 sets of skull crushers of 8-10 reps.
  • Then he does 4 sets of cable tricep extensions of 8-10 reps.
  • After that he performs 4 sets of seated Arnold press of 8-10 reps.
  • Next, he performs 4 sets of dumbbell flyes of 8-12 reps.
  • Then he performs 4 sets of cable crossover of 10 reps.
  • After that, he does 4 sets of French press of 8-10 reps.
  • Next, he performs 4 sets of triceps extensions of 10-12 reps.
  • At last he does 4 sets of side lateral raise of 15 reps.

Day 3- Legs and biceps

  • On day 3 he starts his workout with 4 sets of leg curl of 8-12 reps.
  • Then he performs 4 sets of squats of 8-12 reps.
  • Next, he does 4 sets of bent over row of 8-10 reps.
  • And after that, he performs 4 sets of pull up of 8-11 reps,
  • Then he does 4 sets of barbell curl of 8-12 reps.
  • And after that he performs 4 sets of bench press of 8-12 reps.
  • Next, he does 4 sets of biceps curls of 10 reps.
  • And at last he performs 4 sets of hanging leg raise of 12-15 reps.

He takes rest for 2 day and repeats the same workout routine.
